The Next Evolution in Maternity Clothes has Arrived: Ingrid & Isabel

In just weeks from now, my next (and my wife hopes, last) child will be born: a second son.  My kids range from 27 years old to a two year old son, and now my next son on the way.  And there are more kids in the middle there.  My life is chaos, and my wife’s life is even more chaotic.  Being 33 weeks pregnant with 113 degrees of hell outside, mixed with a super enthusiastic five year old and two year (in the thralls of madness ie the terrible twos), is a lot to balance with running a household.  For my wife, it is easier to grab one of my favorite T shirts and wear that, as she just doesn’t like the look and feel of maternity clothes. Until we saw the beautiful line from Ingrid & Isabel……

It was like Christmas morning for my wife when she opened up her box of goodies from Ingrid & Isabel; everything from Mom & Dad maternity hats to a baby bag, mixed with beautiful dresses, tops and shorts.  She was nervous trying them on because nothing fits her (except the couch) as she’s uncomfortably bigger than the two previous pregnancies.  They have a unique calculator that uses your normal size and current week of your pregnancy to figure out your size, and it worked like magic.  Every single piece from Ingrid & Isabel fits perfectly.  Nothing too tight or constricting.

Ingrid & Isabel is a line designed for, and more importantly, by moms.  And these moms know exactly what they are doing.  They look fashionable, and the quality is top-notch.  Fashion statements in every piece, designed especially for a new mom-to-be.

This is definitely my wife’s go to choice for maternity wear moving forward, and its too bad we didn’t get them earlier in the pregnancy.  I guess there is another reason for us to have a girl next (my wife is currently sharpening a kitchen knife while eyeing me, she’s had enough).

My wife looks so beautiful in these clothes, I convinced her to let me do an impromptu shoot of her, and when I say impromptu, I mean with my pro lights, backdrop and strobes.  This is no phone photography, as I wanted to shoot just how beautiful my wife is during the final few weeks of her pregnancy.

If you haven’t heard of them already, checkout https://www.ingridandisabel.com and pickup some of their essential line exclusively at Target.  You or your partner will NOT be disappointed.  And one more thing, they do not sell a moo moo so look elsewhere.
