We all crave more power…actually none of us can get enough. Unless you have a new build home and you have had your electrician give you eight outlets, USB-C and USB-A ports in every room, odds are you don’t have enough power.  Everyone from Apple to Belkin has addressed power through wireless charging and hubs of multiple different flavors.  Enter Intelli’s PowerHub, and this base station really has it all, in one form or another.

Intelli has thrown everything including the kitchen sink at this bad boy (kitchen sink not included), with USB-C, USB-A, Qi wireless charging, as well as traditional 110V dual power outlets, all in one convenient, not-so-intrusive package.  Since it isn’t Apple-specific, we don’t have MagSafe charging for your iPhone 12 and up phones, nor do we have Apple Watch specific charging.  However, that is certainly not a deal breaker since the PowerHub has an 18-watt USB-C port for either MagSafe or Apple Watch, and two USB-A fast charging ports that will charge your watch easily.

I’ve had this device for the last few weeks, and where I find it really shines is tucked away in the corner of my kitchen.  The social hub of the home is usually the kitchen for most folks, and having a charging dock that offers wireless and wired charging is a joy for everyone. One teenager in a home can easily bring an entire neighborhood’s power grid to a crashing halt, so the more power, the better just to appease the thirteen year old, power-hungry demon sponging off your very existence in your home.

Convenience, durability and versatility are the huge benefits of the PowerHub. At $49.99, the price bests most of the competition from Belkin, Apple, Zagg and everyone else.  Performance is on par with the best of them, so you should add this to your list of “must-have” charging devices of 2021.  Highly recommended.
